Work Environment\n

This position supports telehealth practices aimed at increasing access to mental health services for those in need. You will work standard hours from Monday to Friday (9:00 AM to 5:00 PM), with some flexibility based on patient needs as required. Our digital platform fosters collaboration among team members to provide integrated care while ensuring that clients receive continuous support no matter where they are.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments of clients, evaluating their trauma histories and determining suitable treatment options.

• Design and implement customized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery, resilience, and personal growth.
\n
• Employ evidence-based interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), tailored to individual client needs.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions to assist clients in processing their trauma and developing effective coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to provide comprehensive and integrated community care.

• Respond promptly to crisis situations and provide immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families on trauma-related responses, coping strategies, and community resources.

• Keep accurate and confidential client records, complying with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in case discussions, team meetings, and ongoing training related to trauma-informed care.

• Stay current with advancements in trauma therapy methodologies and best practices to continually improve service delivery.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing trauma-related mental health issues. You will engage with a diverse client base, consisting of adults and adolescents affected by PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Understanding their unique backgrounds and experiences will allow you to adapt your therapeutic approach effectively, ensuring that each client receives the care tailored to their individual healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment approaches.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health setting, specifically working with trauma survivors.

Compensation and Benefits\n
