Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand the severity and nature of mood disorders in clients, ensuring that every assessment is tailored to the individual client's needs.

• Collaborate intimately with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique goals, preferences, and circumstances.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to facilitate effective treatment.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment methods, and self-care practices, empowering them to take an active role in their mental health journeys.

• Monitor and document clients’ progress regularly, making data-informed adjustments to treatment plans in response to clients’ evolving needs.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless and holistic treatment, enhancing the overall efficacy of care provided.

• Engage in ongoing professional development, staying informed about recent advancements in mood disorder research and treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily involves working with individuals experiencing mood disorders, such as major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. The therapist will cultivate therapeutic relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring cultural competence and sensitivity throughout the treatment process.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT within the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience focusing on mood disorders is preferred.

• Demonstrated proficiency in applying evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as CBT and DBT.

• Comprehensive understanding of psychopharmacology and its implications for therapy, with the ability to effectively collaborate with psychiatric professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, contingent on experience and qualifications. We also offer a sign-on bonus to help you transition into your new role.
