Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, with a work schedule that promotes a healthy work-life balance. Therapists will operate during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Utilizing modern telehealth platforms, you will provide therapy and connect with clients seamlessly, ensuring continuity of care while accommodating their varied schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand and evaluate the severity and impact of mood disorders on individual clients.

• Collaborate with clients to design personalized treatment plans that align with their unique experiences and aspirations.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to deliver exceptional care.

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and empower them with self-care strategies tailored to their needs.

• Monitor clients’ progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to enhance their journey towards mental wellness.

• Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide integrated care.

• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in the psychological treatment of mood disorders to optimize therapeutic methods used.

• Maintain precise, confidential documentation of client interactions, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal requirements.

• Participate in regular case consultations and team meetings to advocate best practices and continuous improvement.

• Promote awareness and destigmatization of mood disorders within the community by representing clients' needs and advocating for essential resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The ideal candidate will work closely with clients facing various mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Our culturally diverse clientele requires a therapist who is adept in tailoring interventions to meet each individual or family’s unique needs, preferences, and backgrounds, promoting inclusivity and understanding within their care plans.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LCSW (Licensed Clinical Social Worker), LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor), or LMFT (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist) in the state of Georgia.

• Demonstrable expertise in the application of evidence-based therapeutic techniques for mood disorders.
