Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our outpatient office in Roanoke, VA. You will join a collaborative team consisting of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA). Our work schedule runs Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced professional life while actively contributing to community health and wellness. Key Responsibilities

• Assess patient needs and set achievable rehabilitation goals to enhance their mobility and quality of life.
• Manage a patient load of one individual per hour to ensure focused and personalized care.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to design comprehensive treatment plans that may include manual therapy, exercise, and modalities tailored to individual cases.
• Educate patients on therapeutic techniques, self-management strategies, and preventive care to foster independence.
• Implement cost-effective treatments aimed at improving motion and mobility while minimizing reliance on medications or surgical interventions.
• Regularly evaluate treatment effectiveness and document outcomes, maintaining open communication with patients and their families.
• Motivate and guide patients throughout their rehabilitation journey, ensuring a supportive and encouraging atmosphere.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
• Customize fitness and wellness programs to meet the specific needs of patients, promoting lifelong healthy habits.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, to document patient care efficiently.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and collaborate with healthcare teams.

• Prior experience in orthopedic outpatient care is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with sports medicine practices and rehabilitation techniques will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation for this full-time position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
