Work Environment

The role is primarily onsite in the patients' homes throughout the Roanoke area, allowing our therapists to assess and treat individuals in a familiar environment where they feel comfortable. You will appreciate a flexible work schedule, enabling you to choose hours that best fit your lifestyle while still meeting our patients' needs, generally operating Monday through Friday.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations of patients in their homes, documenting their physical condition and understanding their personal goals for recovery.
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on thorough assessments, incorporating techniques such as therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and assistive devices.
• Utilize various treatment modalities tailored to each patient's needs, ensuring the use of evidence-based practice for optimal outcomes.
• Track and document patient progress, responses to treatment, and modify treatment plans as needed to achieve therapeutic goals.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, home exercises, and recovery processes, empowering them to take an active role in their rehabilitation.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary health team, providing insights and updates on patient progress and coordinating care for holistic recovery.
• Maintain certifications and enhance professional knowledge through workshops, seminars, and active participation in professional organizations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy, with a valid state license to practice physical therapy.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

The compensation for this role ranges from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, alongside a comprehensive benefits package.
