Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive, trauma-informed mental health assessments aimed at evaluating patients' trauma histories and determining appropriate treatment approaches.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience-building strategies tailored to each client’s needs.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing.

• Offer both individual and group therapy sessions, providing a safe space for patients to process trauma and develop effective coping mechanisms.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure integrated, holistic care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support for clients experiencing trauma-related emergencies.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, coping strategies, and available community resources to enhance their support systems.

• Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position primarily serves a diverse patient population in Gaithersburg, Maryland, including individuals navigating the effects of trauma. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCPC in the state of Maryland is essential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The Tarrant Post-Acute Care Practice Center offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience. Our compensation package includes:
