Work Environment\n

In this remote role, you will interact with a diverse team of professionals, including other mental health experts, administrative staff, and community partners, all dedicated to enhancing the mental health landscape. Our work schedule allows for flexibility to meet patient needs, with core hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM. You will be supported by a robust infrastructure that facilitates collaboration and access to resources necessary to provide effective, individualized care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to gain insights into patients' lived experiences and create comprehensive treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other approaches, while tailoring these methods to accommodate the unique cultural and personal backgrounds of each patient.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, focusing on specific mental health concerns that promote patient resilience, coping strategies, and overall mental health improvement.

• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated and holistic care, thereby enhancing treatment outcomes.

• Provide timely crisis intervention and support to manage mental health emergencies effectively, demonstrating strong judgment and calmness under pressure.

• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that can support recovery and well-being.

• Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential documentation that meets legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Actively engage in case conferences and team meetings, contributing to discussions and learning opportunities related to cultural competency and best practices.

• Stay abreast of current research, treatment methodologies, and cultural considerations relevant to the field of mental health therapy through continuous education.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Washington.

• Demonstrated experience in delivering culturally responsive therapeutic interventions through individual and group therapy.

• Exceptional crisis intervention capabilities and the ability to foster a calm, supportive, and therapeutic environment during crises.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, enabling rapport-building with a variety of clients.

• Competency with electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficient in various computer applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
