Work Environment

This position is an onsite role that emphasizes home care, meaning you'll travel to patients' homes in the Ocala area to deliver personalized therapy. You will work closely with patients, their families, and caregivers in real-life settings, allowing you to make a profound impact on their rehabilitative journey. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations, including the review of medical histories and pertinent assessments, to determine the best course of treatment for each patient.
• Develop detailed treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, incorporating specific therapeutic exercises and modalities to address mobility issues.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, explaining evaluation results and treatment goals clearly to foster understanding and cooperation.
• Implement therapeutic interventions based on evidence-based practices, ensuring adjustments to treatment plans as needed to improve patient outcomes.
• Monitor patient progress regularly and document all findings in electronic health records (EHR) systems to ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
• Provide education to patients and caregivers on exercise techniques, home modifications, and pain management strategies to empower them in their recovery.
• Participate in team meetings and review cases with fellow PTs and healthcare providers to share insights and strategies for best practices.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including workshops and training, to stay updated with the latest advancements in physical therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on adult and geriatric patients, often including those recovering from surgeries, managing chronic pain, or rehabilitating from injuries. You will be instrumental in fostering a compassionate and encouraging environment, recognizing the unique needs and challenges that each patient faces in their own homes.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• Current licensure to practice as a Physical Therapist in the state of Florida.
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills to develop effective treatment protocols.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with patients and families.
• Proficiency with electronic health record systems and familiarity with telehealth services is a plus.

Preferred Experience

Compensation and Benefits

One Tap Physio Care offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
