Orthopedic Physical Therapist - Full-Time Home Care Specialist

Serenity Motion Therapy is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dedicated team at our orthopedic outpatient center located in the beautiful city of Ocala, Florida. This full-time position involves providing personalized care to patients in a home care setting, focusing on helping individuals regain their mobility and improve their quality of life. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify patients' physical therapy needs and establish personalized treatment goals.
• Manage a dedicated caseload of one patient per hour, ensuring focused and individualized attention to each client's therapeutic needs.
• Implement evidence-based interventions including therapeutic exercise, manual therapy, and modalities to improve patients' mobility and functionality.
• Design and adapt fitness and rehabilitation programs that accommodate the unique circumstances and requirements of each patient.
• Educate patients on exercises and strategies to enhance strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination, fostering independence in their daily activities.
• Regularly assess patient progress, modify treatment plans as necessary, and document all care provided in accordance with compliance regulations.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care and patient satisfaction.
• Motivate patients throughout their recovery journey, encouraging a positive and proactive approach to their rehabilitation.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients requiring rehabilitation services following surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions that impact their mobility. This includes, but is not limited to, individuals recovering from joint replacements, sports injuries, and musculoskeletal disorders. You will be responsible for delivering tailored care that emphasizes reducing pain, improving mobility, and restoring function.

Qualifications

• A valid and current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Florida is required.
• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy; Master's or Doctorate degree (DPT) preferred.
• A clean professional record with no board or disciplinary actions against your license.
• Strong manual therapy skills and proficiency in developing and implementing evidence-based exercise protocols.
• Proficient in using electronic medical records software, with familiarity with WebPT being a significant advantage.

Preferred Experience

• Previous experience working in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
• Proven track record in treating and managing a diverse patient population, particularly in a home care context.
• Experience in designing innovative treatment plans that improve patient outcomes and reduce the need for invasive surgeries.

Compensation and Benefits

Serenity Motion Therapy offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, we provide:
