You will be working in our outpatient office based in Ocala, Florida, which is known for its beautiful landscapes and welcoming community. Key Responsibilities

• Direct comprehensive physical therapy treatments tailored to individual patient needs, aiming to prevent disability, alleviate pain, and restore muscle function.
• Conduct thorough evaluations of clients' functional levels through diagnostic and prognostic testing of muscles, nerves, joints, and overall capabilities.
• Administer and design manual therapeutic exercises while instructing and motivating clients during both manual and non-manual rehabilitation exercises.
• Set up and apply traction, massage therapies, and other physical modalities effectively while ensuring patient comfort and safety.
• Assess, fit, and adjust prosthetic and orthotic devices, advising physicians on any necessary modifications to optimize patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an Orthopedic Physical Therapist at our facility, you will primarily work with a diverse patient demographic, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. This role involves hands-on rehabilitation strategies for individuals ranging from young athletes to the elderly, providing tailored therapy plans that cater to varied levels of physical abilities and rehabilitation needs.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Valid and active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in Florida.
• A minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in the realms of orthopedics, geriatrics, acute care, and outpatient settings.
• Proficient in orthopedic assessments, treatment methodologies, and patient care planning.
• Excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and problem-solving aptitude to enhance patient interactions and outcomes.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records systems is preferred for streamlined documentation and patient tracking.

Preferred Experience

• Hands-on experience with advanced therapeutic modalities and techniques specific to orthopedic rehabilitation is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of interdisciplinary collaboration in patient care to optimize therapy outcomes.
• Experience with community outreach initiatives and patient education programs would be a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer an attractive compensation package ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 annually, complemented by performance bonuses.
