Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients seeking orthopedic physical therapy and utilize evidence-based guidelines to design individualized treatment plans.
• Implement treatment plans in accordance with physician recommendations, adhering to agency policies and professional practice standards.
• Engage in ongoing patient assessments to measure progress and adjust treatment strategies as required, ensuring continuous improvement in patient outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic exercises and at-home treatment options that enhance recovery and prevent future injuries.
• Ensure effective communication with all treating medical professionals, sharing pertinent patient information that supports integrated care approaches.
• Focus on prevention strategies to address functional disorders and promote overall health and well-being.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic specializes in treating a diverse patient population with a focus on orthopedic conditions, including postoperative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited physical therapy program (Master's Degree preferred).
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of Florida is required to practice.

• Certifications required: First Aid, AED, and CPR.
• Strong foundational knowledge in treating orthopedic conditions, alongside proficiency in current therapeutic techniques.

• Proficiency in computer systems and software relevant to patient management and documentation.

Preferred Experience

While at least three years of experience in an outpatient clinical environment is mandatory, candidates with experience in manual therapy techniques or specialized rehabilitation approaches will be viewed favorably. Engagement in continuing education courses related to advanced orthopedic therapies is also beneficial and encouraged.

Compensation and Benefits
