Work Environment\n

This position requires a full-time commitment, with a standard work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments, utilizing standardized tools and clinical interviews to identify client needs and develop individualized treatment strategies.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, tailored to the specific issues clients present.

• Facilitate psychoeducational workshops and support groups that address common mental health concerns, such as coping strategies for anxiety and techniques for managing depression.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, and fellow counselors to ensure a comprehensive and cohesive approach to patient care.

• Deliver crisis intervention services, employing your expertise to stabilize patients during mental health emergencies while maintaining a safe and supportive environment.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that could enhance their recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, therapeutic approaches, and effective treatment methodologies.

• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and creating effective individualized treatment plans based on client needs.

• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy, with a focus on evidence-based practices.

• Competence in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications necessary for maintaining records.

Compensation and Benefits\n
