Key Responsibilities\n

As an LPC at Calhoun Families First Center, you will be responsible for:

• Managing a diverse caseload of clients, particularly youth, establishing meaningful rapport and positive, therapeutic relationships while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.

• Conducting regular sessions with clients, evaluating their progress and stability, discussing upcoming appointments, with timely discharge planning when appropriate.

• Developing, implementing, and reviewing person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client's specific needs and goals.

• Keeping meticulous and up-to-date documentation, including progress notes and treatment plans, to ensure high-quality care.

• Performing comprehensive intake assessments and creating a thorough understanding of the client's background and presenting issues.
\n
• Engaging in individual supervision sessions, enhancing your clinical skills and professional development.
\n
• Collaborating with other healthcare providers to improve integrated care for clients, participating in case discussions to optimize treatment approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role primarily serves a youth population and their families, focusing on a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
