The position is based in our state-of-the-art outpatient office located in Wayne, NJ. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient goals and needs, and develop individualized treatment plans accordingly.
• Utilize a variety of evidence-based treatment techniques to deliver cost-effective therapies that enhance mobility and functionality.
• Create tailored fitness and wellness programs aimed at improving patients' strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
• Motivate and guide patients through their treatment, ensuring they remain engaged and committed to achieving their rehabilitation objectives.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians, occupational therapists, and other relevant specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Monitor patient progress through regular assessments and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on injury prevention, self-management strategies, and the importance of a healthy lifestyle.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work as a Physical Therapist will primarily focus on a diverse range of patients dealing with orthopedic conditions, including post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic pain management. You will be instrumental in providing effective interventions and support for individuals of various age groups and backgrounds, aiming to restore their physical capabilities and enhance their quality of daily living.

Qualifications

• A Master's Degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from a CAPTE-accredited program.
• Current and active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Demonstrated knowledge of orthopedic principles and the rehabilitation process.
• Strong communication skills, enabling effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare colleagues.
• A compassionate demeanor and the ability to manage a diverse patient population, recognizing the different psychological and emotional needs of patients.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of two years of experience in orthopedic rehabilitation, focusing on patients with musculoskeletal injuries and disabilities.
• Proficient in patient assessment, treatment planning, and hands-on patient care techniques specific to orthopedic therapy.
• Experience utilizing rehabilitation technology and electronic health record (EHR) systems for patient documentation and communication.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 110,000 to 130,000, commensurate with experience, alongside bonuses based on performance.
