Willow Garden Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and empathetic Mental Health Therapist to provide specialized therapeutic support to individuals overcoming trauma. Work Environment\n

This position is 100% remote, allowing you to provide telehealth services to clients in an accessible manner. You will engage with patients through our secure telehealth platform, ensuring confidentiality and safety during sessions. Flexible work hours from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, are established, with some variability based on patient needs, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each client's trauma history and develop personalized treatment strategies.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to facilitate healing and recovery.

• Deliver both individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients articulate their trauma experiences, build coping mechanisms, and navigate their healing journeys.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals, to provide integrated and comprehensive care tailored to each patient.

• Manage crisis situations with sensitivity and proficiency, offering immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping strategies, empowering them with knowledge and resources.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and secure documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in team meetings, case consultations, and continuing education to enhance professional skills related to trauma-informed care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with adults and adolescents who are navigating the complexities of trauma and its psychological repercussions. Your role is crucial in helping clients understand their experiences, foster recovery, and promote resilience in the face of ongoing life challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Kansas.

• A strong foundation in trauma-related disorders and treatment methodologies.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach to therapy.

• Competent in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient client management.
\n
• A commitment to teamwork and collaboration within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience working in mental health counseling, preferably focusing on trauma therapies.

• Experience with specific therapeutic modalities such as EMDR and TF-CBT is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Benefits include:
