Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health needs, using evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions for developing tailored treatment plans.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and other relevant modalities to foster client progress.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential clinical documentation, ensuring adherence to HIPAA regulations and other legal standards to protect client privacy.

• Engage in collaborative case management with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and other mental health professionals, to ensure comprehensive care.

• Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to continuously improve the quality of care provided to clients.
\n
• Provide education and emotional support to clients and their families, equipping them with insights into mental health conditions and available community resources.

• Stay informed about advancements in the mental health field through ongoing professional development and research.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will include individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges including, but not limited to, anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, trauma-related disorders, and life transitions. You will work with a diverse clientele who may require culturally sensitive approaches and individualized care plans, recognizing the unique contexts of each client’s situation.

Qualifications\n

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Specialist Clinical Social Worker (LSCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), or Licensed Clinical Marriage and Family Therapist (LCMFT) in the state of Kansas.

• Demonstrated ability to apply solution-focused psychotherapy interventions to meet the unique needs of clients.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective relationships with clients, families, and colleagues.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, essential for addressing complex client situations.
