Work Environment\n

This position operates within a dynamic outpatient setting, primarily in a remote format, allowing for flexibility in work hours while maintaining essential face-to-face interactions when necessary. Our regular operations run Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, providing a predictable schedule to balance both professional and personal commitments.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and evaluations to understand patient needs thoroughly and develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual requirements.

• Engage with clients to listen empathetically to their concerns, ensuring a supportive and confidential environment for open dialogue.

• Diagnose mental and emotional disorders, employing recognized frameworks and methodologies to inform treatment approaches.

• Design and implement personalized coping strategies, offering clients tools and resources to manage their mental health effectively.

• Monitor and assess client progress, adapting treatment strategies as necessary to reflect changes in clients' needs.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including social workers, medical professionals, and community organizations, to coordinate holistic care and enhance resource accessibility for your clients.

• Provide educational resources for both staff and clients about effective stress and trauma coping techniques.

• Participate in continuous professional development activities, including taking courses to maintain your National Certified Counselor certification and staying updated on industry best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be working with trauma patients, who may be dealing with a range of mental health challenges stemming from their experiences. This includes individuals recovering from physical injuries associated with trauma, as well as those struggling with emotional distress. You will play a crucial role in their healing journey, providing guidance and support tailored to each patient's unique background and circumstances.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field is required.

• Must hold a valid Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) credential.

• Experience of 3+ years is essential, particularly with managing trauma-related cases.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is required, alongside excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients and colleagues.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, depending on your experience and qualifications. In addition, our benefits package includes:
