Care Medical is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Physical Therapist to join our vibrant team in Charlottesville, Virginia. This full-time position offers an opportunity to provide high-quality care to diverse patients in an outpatient office setting. Work Environment

The position is based onsite in our outpatient office, which is dedicated to providing personalized care in a comfortable and encouraging setting. The office operates Monday to Friday, with flexible schedules to promote a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments to identify patients' physical capabilities and limitations, establishing personalized care plans.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, tailoring treatment modalities to meet individual patient needs.
• Provide one-on-one sessions with patients, allowing for a focused approach that sees one patient every 40 minutes for effective therapeutic engagement.
• Monitor and document patients' progress closely, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to ensure optimal recovery.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, which includes physicians and other healthcare providers, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Educate patients about their conditions and the treatment plans, empowering them to take an active role in their rehabilitation journey.
• Advocate for healthy lifestyles by promoting programs focused on strength training, flexibility, and coordination improvements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic serves a blend of commercial insurance and private pay patients who seek specialized treatment for various orthopedic issues, ranging from sports injuries to postoperative rehabilitation. The diverse patient demographic includes competitive athletes, weekend warriors, and individuals recovering from surgery, allowing our therapists to employ a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques tailored to each specific case.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field is required.
• A valid Virginia State license to practice Physical Therapy is mandatory.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Physical Therapist in an outpatient setting, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong foundations in treatment practices, coupled with the ability to adapt therapies to diverse patient needs.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills that foster positive relationships with patients and team members.
• A commitment to continuous professional development and the pursuit of clinical excellence.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with a range of orthopedic conditions and knowledge of sports-related injuries is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems, particularly Athena Health.
• Proven ability to function effectively in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Compensation and Benefits
