Acuity Mental Health Programs is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our multidisciplinary team in a fully remote capacity. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will play an integral role in supporting the mental health and well-being of individuals, couples, and families through effective therapy and intervention strategies. This full-time position offers a competitive salary between USD 115,000 and 130,000 annually, dependent on experience and qualifications.

Work Environment\n

This role operates in a remote setting, utilizing telehealth platforms to conduct therapy sessions. You will engage with clients in a virtual environment, allowing for flexible scheduling and the ability to reach individuals who may be unable to attend in-person therapy. You will also collaborate with a team of dedicated professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and family therapists, to provide the best care possible.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive assessments and patient input, in accordance with established therapeutic goals.

• Monitor and document client progress through timely and detailed progress notes, ensuring all documentation reflects the patient’s therapeutic journey and is completed before the end of each shift.

• Provide crisis intervention services, including managing acute behavioral issues and de-escalating potential conflicts with appropriate techniques.
\n
• Foster an inclusive environment by orienting patients and their families to the therapeutic process and actively involving them in treatment planning.

• Advocate for clients by identifying community resources and services to enhance the overall treatment experience.
\n
• Participate in regular team meetings, contributing insights from your interactions with clients and collaborating on joint treatment strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your expertise will be utilized to support a varied patient population, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and more complex mental health challenges. You will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, ensuring that their unique experiences and cultural contexts inform your approach to therapy.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• Must possess an independent license (LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW) issued by the state board; limited/provisional licenses are not accepted.

• Demonstrated knowledge and skills in therapeutic modalities relevant to individual and family counseling.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in using digital documentation tools.

• Ability to engage empathetically with clients, demonstrating a deep understanding of their challenges and experiences.

Preferred Experience\n
