Work Environment

Our North Fort Myers facility is an onsite rehabilitation center equipped with state-of-the-art tools and equipment designed for optimal therapeutic outcomes. As a Physical Therapist here, you will work a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, totaling 40 hours per week. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients recovering from various injuries, diseases, or surgeries in an outpatient rehabilitation setting.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing an array of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, targeted exercise regimens, and advanced modalities to reduce pain and enhance mobility.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, documenting treatment sessions and outcomes while adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Educate patients, their families, and caregivers on therapeutic exercises, proper use of assistive devices, and self-care strategies that will facilitate recovery and prevent further injury.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient care progress and collaborate on interdisciplinary strategies that promote comprehensive recovery for clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills by pursuing continuing education, attending workshops, and engaging with professional societies.

Our clinic caters to a diverse patient demographic, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, neurological disorders, sports injuries, and more. Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) and a current valid license in Florida are mandatory for this role.
• Possess a strong foundation in physical therapy practices and a firm understanding of rehabilitation protocols.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey complex concepts to patients and collaborate with team members.
• Proficient computer skills for documenting patient notes and treatment plans as well as utilizing practice management software.
• Ability to adapt quickly to a variety of patient needs and treatment scenarios in a dynamic environment.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience is preferred, although new graduates with a passion for patient care and eagerness to learn will also be considered.
• Experience working in outpatient physical therapy and knowledge of various rehabilitation techniques is a plus.
