Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough intakes and evaluations to understand client backgrounds, concerns, and treatment needs.

• Engage actively with the VIEW team to enhance the overall quality of care and share insights regarding client progress.

• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss treatment strategies, share updates, and align on organizational goals.

• Assess clients' progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary to meet their evolving needs.

• Contribute to the development and implementation of recovery-focused initiatives and programs that align with the mission of Excelsior Wellness.

• Help evaluate current services and propose improvements to optimize client outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will include individuals and families facing a diverse range of mental health challenges, from anxiety and depression to coping with trauma and substance use disorders. You will work to cultivate trusting relationships that empower clients, encouraging them to embrace their journey toward mental wellness. Through comprehensive assessments, you will tailor your therapeutic approach to meet the specific needs of each client, ensuring no one feels alone in their struggles.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.

• Current licensure through the Washington State Department of Health as an LMHC, LICSW, or LMFT.

• A minimum of three years of relevant professional experience in mental health counseling.

• Exceptional communication skills, including active listening and the ability to foster empathy with clients.

• Competence in collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to group initiatives.

• A strong commitment to reducing the stigma of mental health issues and promoting substance use recovery.

• Successful completion of a criminal background check prior to employment.

Compensation and Benefits\n
