Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Young Harmony Counseling Services, your essential duties will include—but are not limited to—the following:

• Conduct thorough evaluations and assessments to understand client needs and develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver psychotherapy sessions via telehealth, employing evidence-based interventions tailored to client cases.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of treatment plans, daily progress notes, and discharge summaries in compliance with best practices and JCAHO standards.
• Lead and facilitate consumer support groups that provide education, encouragement, and community to clients.
• Engage in staff meetings, training sessions, and case conferences to ensure collaborative care and effective communication among team members.
• Maintain regular communication with clients and their support systems, including family members and other healthcare providers, enhancing a holistic approach to treatment.
• Assist clients in accessing social services and community resources to bolster their mental health and well-being.
• Ensure the confidentiality and ethical treatment of all clients, aligning with the Code of Ethics set forth by the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association.
• Participate actively in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the maintenance of JCAHO accreditation and MHRS certification.
• Implement treatment plans under the guidance of clinical supervisors while continuously tracking and documenting client progress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your client focus will encompass a diverse range of individuals coping with various mental health concerns, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and perinatal mental health issues. You will work collaboratively with clients of all backgrounds to develop personalized strategies for recovery and resilience. Your role will be critical in connecting clients with necessary community-based resources and facilitating psychoeducation to empower them in their journey towards improved mental health.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• Current licensure as a mental health professional in Washington State, including LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW.
• Authorized to work in the U.S.
• Proven ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, characterized by effective listening and a respectful exchange of ideas.
• Clean record with no history of medical malpractice claims, verified by third-party checks.

Preferred Experience

While the following are preferred, they will enhance your ability to contribute to our team:

• Previous experience in an outpatient setting, particularly with perinatal mental health.
• Proficiency in telehealth systems and electronic health record (EHR) documentation.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
