Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform thorough evaluations and assessments of clients' mental health needs, developing tailored treatment plans in collaboration with clinical supervisors.

• Maintain comprehensive documentation of treatment plans, progress notes, and reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.
\n
• Facilitate and lead therapeutic consumer groups, creating a safe space for individuals to share experiences and enhance their coping strategies.
\n
• Conduct individualized meetings with clients, their families, and other stakeholders to discuss treatment progress, barriers, and further needs.
\n
• Connect clients with community resources as appropriate and assist them in navigating social and healthcare services.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings, contributing insights to case discussions to continuously improve service delivery.
\n
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with potential referral sources in the community to promote intake referrals and collaboration.
\n
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to the Code of Ethics set forth by the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association.
\n
• Stay informed on JCAHO, Medicaid, and DBH standards, ensuring the organization maintains its accreditation and certification.
\n
• Implement treatment plans under clinical supervision and provide support for psychosocial assessments to track client progress effectively.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The Counselor will serve a diverse population with varied mental health needs, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and perinatal mental health concerns. Your ability to provide empathetic, culturally sensitive care will be essential in fostering therapeutic relationships, promoting recovery, and empowering clients toward achieving their mental health goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or related field is required.

• Must hold a current and valid social work license in accordance with state regulations (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW).

• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team in an outpatient mental health setting.

• Exceptional communication skills, showing a strong ability to listen, counsel, and share information clearly with clients and colleagues.

• No history of medical malpractice claims, certified by a third-party verification.
\n
• Authorization to work in the United States.

Compensation and Benefits\n
