Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Bright Tomorrow Counseling Center, your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to understand the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, utilizing standardized evaluation tools and clinical interviews.

• Developing customized treatment plans in collaboration with clients that address their specific therapeutic needs, incorporating their personal goals and preferences.

• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to assist clients in managing their mood disorders effectively.

• Educating clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and self-care methodologies that they can integrate into their daily lives.

• Monitoring clients’ progress through regular follow-ups, adapting treatment plans as necessary based on evidence of progress and feedback.

• Engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, ensuring a holistic approach to client care.

• Maintaining meticulous documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA and ethical standards.

• Participating in ongoing professional development activities, including workshops and team meetings, to enhance clinical skills and understanding of current best practices for mood disorder treatment.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals suffering from a variety of mood disorders, including but not limited to clinical depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our diverse clientele represent various cultural, socioeconomic, and individual backgrounds, ensuring that each counselor’s approach is adapted to meet differing values and expectations.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from a recognized and accredited institution.

• Active licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.

• A strong understanding of psychopharmacology to effectively work alongside psychiatrists and contribute to integrated treatment plans.
