Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to determine their physical capabilities and challenges.
• Develop individualized treatment plans using a wide array of therapeutic techniques, which may include exercise therapy, manual therapy, and modality treatments.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to implement treatment sessions, aimed at relieving pain and improving mobility.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal recovery.
• Educate patients and their families about their conditions, treatment plans, and rehabilitation techniques to promote understanding and compliance.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and improve patient outcomes.
• Provide guidance on the selection and use of assistive devices to help improve patient independence and quality of life.
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending workshops, pursuing further education, and participating in professional networks.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Royal Wellbeing, you will work with a diverse range of patients, including children, adults, and seniors, who require rehabilitation services due to various conditions such as post-surgical recovery, injuries, chronic pain, and neurological disorders. Your ability to tailor your therapeutic approach will be essential in meeting the unique needs of each patient and helping them achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program.
• A valid Physical Therapy License in the state of Florida.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of conveying complex information clearly to patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) and physical therapy documentation processes.
• Flexibility and adaptability to work with varying patient populations and treatment modalities.

Preferred Experience

• While a minimum of two years of experience is preferred, recent graduates with a strong academic background and a passion for patient care are encouraged to apply.
