Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients in a home or rehabilitation setting, identifying their specific needs and crafting individualized treatment plans that address their recovery goals.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including exercise prescriptions, hands-on therapy, and advanced modalities, aimed at alleviating pain and enhancing mobility and strength.
• Monitor patient progress by documenting all treatments, outcomes, and responses, making necessary adjustments to therapy plans based on continuous assessment and evaluations.
• Collaborate with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to educate on therapeutic goals, providing training on the use of assistive devices and therapy regimens.
• Stay current with industry trends by participating in workshops, continuing education opportunities, and professional memberships to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will encompass working with a diverse client base, including individuals recovering from acute injuries, chronic conditions, post-surgical rehabilitation, and mobility impairments. You will deliver personalized therapy that considers each patient's unique circumstances, helping them to regain function and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required, ensuring you have the comprehensive knowledge necessary to provide effective patient care.
• Possession of a valid State License in Physical Therapy to practice in Florida.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with patients, families, and healthcare team members.
• Proficient in word processing and basic computer skills to maintain accurate records and utilize therapeutic documentation systems.

Preferred Experience

While 2 years of experience in the field is preferred, enthusiastic new graduates with demonstrated clinical capabilities and a readiness to learn will also be considered. A background in rehabilitative care or specialized therapy techniques is a plus.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000 annually, supplemented by a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
