The ideal candidate will possess a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology, along with a current licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC in the state of California. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct assessments to evaluate clients presenting with major mental illnesses or severe emotional disorders, tailoring treatment plans based on individual needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to promote client well-being.

• Participate actively in team meetings and interdisciplinary collaboration, contributing insights and strategies to improve overall client care.

• Provide crisis intervention support as necessary, utilizing situational analysis and counseling techniques to address and defuse potentially critical scenarios.
\n
• Maintain a structured caseload management system that includes documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with established protocols.

• Offer on-call coverage support outside regular hours to ensure continuous care for clients in crisis.
\n
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives, participating in committees that aim to enhance the delivery of services.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role predominantly involves working with a diverse client population, including individuals facing significant mental health challenges, such as depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other serious psychological disorders. You will be tasked with ensuring that clients from varied backgrounds receive empathetic, culturally competent, and individualized care that respects their unique traditions and beliefs.

Qualifications\n

• Minimum of three years of direct experience in mental health counseling.

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.

• Current California licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC.

• Strong understanding of assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, risk assessment, and crisis management philosophical frameworks.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills to facilitate clear client interactions and collaboration with team members.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and demonstrate organizational acumen.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of three years of experience is required, candidates with additional experience working with a diverse clientele in community health settings or telehealth environments will be viewed favorably. Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and teletherapy platforms is also beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is between USD 120,000 and 130,000 per year, complemented by a competitive benefits package.
