This position is a full-time remote opportunity based in Rowlett, Texas, where you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality mental health care to children and adolescents dealing with a range of emotional and behavioral challenges.

Work Environment\n

This role primarily operates within a remote setting, allowing for flexibility while ensuring that our therapists can connect with their clients effectively. You will work closely with a team of child psychiatrists, mental health clinicians, and educational professionals, engaging in a supportive and communicative atmosphere even from a distance. The typical work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts to accommodate the needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, employing evidence-based techniques to evaluate the specific needs and concerns of children and adolescents.

• Develop, monitor, and adjust individualized treatment plans that integrate family dynamics and developmental considerations.

• Utilize various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and family therapy, to deliver tailored interventions for anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions with parents and caregivers, focusing on strategies to create a nurturing environment conducive to recovery.
\n
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and support staff to ensure cohesive and continuous care, providing input during case consultations.
\n
• Respond to mental health crises involving patients, offering immediate support and intervention as needed.
\n
• Educate patients and their families about mental health challenges, treatment options, and local resources available for further support.
\n
• Maintain diligent and confidential patient records in accordance with state regulations and ethical guidelines, utilizing electronic health records (EHR) systems effectively.

• Actively participate in ongoing training sessions, team meetings, and professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.

• Stay updated on current research and innovative practices in child and adolescent mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically focuses on working with children and adolescents who are dealing with a variety of mental health disorders. You will engage with patients from diverse backgrounds, addressing issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral challenges. Your expertise will help guide young people towards improved mental health outcomes while supporting their families throughout the therapeutic journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is mandatory.
\n
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities and proven approaches to child and adolescent mental health disorders.

• Experience in providing both individual and family therapy to youth populations is highly preferred.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong focus on building rapport with children, adolescents, and families.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and comfort with digital documentation processes.

• Ability to thrive in a collaborative team environment, sharing resources and contributing to collective outcomes.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in a clinical setting, particularly with child and adolescent populations, is desired.

• Experience in school-based therapy or mental health support programs is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n
