Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations for new clients through telehealth platforms, obtaining pertinent information from their initial consultation to implement tailored treatment plans.

• Assess and document clients' mental, emotional, and behavioral health, identifying any barriers to treatment and adjusting approaches as necessary.

• Develop individualized, couples, or group intervention strategies that promote healing and recovery, employing evidence-based practices and innovative therapeutic techniques.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions using various therapeutic modalities to engage clients actively and encourage participation.

• Monitor client progress throughout their treatment journey, adapting strategies as appropriate and documenting all relevant interactions and outcomes.

• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals, to secure comprehensive care for clients with complex needs.

• Follow up and coordinate care with external health providers and primary care physicians for clients requiring additional services.

• Provide support and guidance to families and caregivers to help them navigate and manage the mental health challenges faced by their loved ones.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The clients you will support range from children and adolescents to adults facing various mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and addiction. Your role will involve tailoring interventions to meet the unique needs of each individual or group, ensuring a holistic approach that recognizes the interplay of mental health with overall well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas, with a strong commitment to adhering to state regulations and ethical practice standards.

• Proven track record of success in obtaining acceptable scores on relevant licensure examinations such as the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, that facilitate effective interactions with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a counseling capacity, demonstrating your ability to engage with clients effectively and sensitively.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems, especially AVATAR, to document and manage patient information efficiently.

• Knowledge of the effects of medications prescribed by health professionals on mental health, along with an understanding of co-occurring physical health conditions.

• Familiar with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) and committed to ongoing professional development.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience, along with a sign-on bonus for successful applicants.
