Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Conduct virtual individual, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. \n
- Collaborate intensively with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that promote holistic well-being, ensuring that clients’ unique needs and preferences are central to their care. \n
- Offer immediate crisis intervention and support to clients experiencing acute distress, employing de-escalation techniques and safety planning to protect client well-being. \n
- Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential client records, adhering to both state and federal regulations regarding patient privacy and data security. \n
- Work alongside interdisciplinary teams, engaging with psychiatrists, case managers, and community organizations to ensure comprehensive support and continuity of care. \n
- Stay up to date with current trends, research findings, and best practices within the field of mental health counseling to continuously enhance your skills and effectiveness. \n
The Mental Health Counselor role encompasses a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families facing various socio-economic, cultural, and psychological challenges. Our clients range from those dealing with mild stress and adjustment issues, to individuals experiencing significant mental health crises. This role demands a strong commitment to providing culturally competent, inclusive therapy that meets the unique requirements of each client, fostering an atmosphere where all individuals feel safe and empowered to share their experiences.
Qualifications\n- \n
- Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a related field from an accredited institution. \n
- Active licensure in Washington State as an LPC, LCSW, or LMFT, or eligibility for licensure. \n
- Demonstrated experience in providing mental health counseling services to diverse populations, showcasing the ability to build therapeutic relationships. \n
- Strong interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for developing rapport with clients from various backgrounds and demographics. \n
- Commitment to cultural competence, ensuring all care provided is affirming and respectful of diversity. \n
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to collaborate effectively with peers and other professionals. \n
- Capacity to work independently while also thriving within a multidisciplinary team dynamic. \n

- Previous telehealth counseling experience, with proficiency in using virtual platforms for therapy sessions. \n
- Specialization in specific areas such as trauma, child and adolescent therapy, or substance abuse counseling. \n
- Experience in developing community outreach programs or facilitating group therapy sessions. \n
The salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
