Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, with the flexibility to conduct assessments and therapy sessions through a secure online platform. Our outpatient office is equipped with modern technology and resources to support virtual sessions while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with ethical guidelines. Team members typically work Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts depending on the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments designed to understand the specific needs of children and adolescents. This includes reviewing developmental history, family dynamics, and presenting concerns.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions and therapeutic modalities tailored to each patient’s unique circumstances.

• Provide therapeutic services, including individual and family therapy sessions, with a focus on promoting mental health wellness and parental involvement.

• Support families through educational sessions, equipping them with strategies to foster a supportive home environment for their child’s growth.

• Work collaboratively with child psychiatrists and other professionals to ensure an integrated approach to care, sharing insights and treatment progress in regular case consultations.

• Offer crisis intervention and support, being readily available to assist children and their families during mental health emergencies.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in accordance with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to remain current in trends and best practices in child and adolescent mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus is on children and adolescents, providing targeted support for issues such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, and behavioral disorders. You will engage with a diverse patient population, collaborating with families to tailor therapeutic interventions that are sensitive to the cultural, social, and familial contexts in which our young clients live.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, focusing on child and adolescent populations.
\n
• A solid understanding of child and adolescent mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and child-centered approach in therapy.
\n
• Ability to cultivate trusting relationships with children, adolescents, and their families, through empathy and active engagement.

• Proficiency in the use of electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and treatment planning.
\n
• Experience working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing family therapy, with a capability to address and resolve family dynamics that affect patient mental health.

• A background in crisis intervention, offering timely support during critical situations involving young clients.

Compensation and Benefits\n
