Work Environment

The Nurse Practitioner will work in an onsite clinical environment within a vibrant school facility, designed to promote comfort and collaboration among staff and patients. Operating Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with one late shift per week and occasional Saturday hours, the role promotes a balanced work-life routine. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including detailed medical histories and thorough skin examinations to ensure accurate diagnosis.
• Diagnose and implement treatment plans for a range of dermatological conditions, such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers.
• Perform and assist in cosmetic dermatological procedures including but not limited to Botox injections, dermal fillers, and laser therapies.
• Engage patients in discussions regarding their skincare routines, providing tailored advice and education to promote effective skin health management.
• Participate in skin cancer screenings and offer post-operative care to ensure optimal healing and education post-procedure.

Qualifications

• A Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) with a concentration in dermatology or equivalent coursework from an accredited program.
• Current Dermatology Certified Nurse Practitioner (DCNP) credential recognized by the Dermatology Nursing Certification Board (DNCB).
• Proven ability to perform cosmetic dermatology procedures, including but not limited to Botox and dermal fillers.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner, specifically in the field of dermatology, is preferred.
• Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems to efficiently track patient information and billing.
• Strong communication skills to provide clear instructions and collaborate with the dermatology team and other healthcare professionals.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $120,000 to $160,000 annually, commensurate with experience and performance within the role.
