Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial evaluations and detailed interviews with clients to assess their mental, emotional, and behavioral health needs, documenting progress from the initial consultation through treatment completion.

• Develop and implement comprehensive, individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based interventions for individuals, couples, and families.

• Lead therapeutic sessions, both individual and group, ensuring that clients feel supported, heard, and engaged throughout their recovery journey.

• Monitor and document client progress, adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes and addressing any barriers to recovery.

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, in developing and refining intervention strategies.

• Provide follow-up support for clients admitted to hospitals and maintain communication with their treatment teams to safeguard continuity of care.

• Guide and support family members and primary caregivers in managing the mental and behavioral challenges of their loved ones, providing resources and educational materials as needed.

• Stay informed about advancements in psychotherapy and contribute to team discussions about best practices and new treatment modalities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients come from various backgrounds and present with a wide array of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in Arizona.

• A passing score on the National Counseling Exam (NCE) or National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a mental health counselor with a proven track record of successful therapeutic relationships.

• Proficient in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR, for efficient documentation and care coordination.

• Familiarity with various physical and emotional health conditions, including addiction disorders, to provide comprehensive support.
\n
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, showing empathy and sensitivity to client needs.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience applying American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) best practices in therapy.

• In-depth knowledge of psychotropic medications and their implications for therapy, enhancing integrated care approaches.

Compensation and Benefits\n
