Work Environment

This position is an onsite role primarily set within our home care facility in Park Ridge, NJ, allowing you to work directly with patients in a comfortable and familiar setting. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance. We maintain a patient volume of approximately 2 patients per hour, ensuring you have ample time to focus on each individual's rehabilitation journey and foster strong therapeutic relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on therapy sessions that include manual techniques and therapeutic exercise programs tailored to meet each patient's specific recovery goals.
• Design, implement, and adapt customized rehabilitation programs for patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain.
• Educate patients and their families about post-treatment care, including effective self-management strategies and injury prevention techniques.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers, including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff, to develop and ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain meticulous patient records and documentation through our electronic medical records (EMR) systems, ensuring accuracy and compliance with healthcare regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work primarily with orthopedic patients ranging from post-surgical individuals to those dealing with sports-related injuries and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Our client base is diverse, incorporating all age groups, which allows for a varied and engaging practice experience. We prioritize a compassionate approach, ensuring each patient feels valued and supported throughout their recovery journey.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active New Jersey Physical Therapist license in good standing.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with a focus on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and rehabilitation strategies.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT, for efficient patient management.
• A clean professional licensure history with no prior board actions.

Preferred Experience

We value candidates who possess strong manual therapy skills and have a history of successfully implementing individualized treatment plans. Experience in a home care or outpatient orthopedic setting is particularly advantageous, as it aligns closely with our operational model and patient care philosophy.

Park North Physical Therapy offers a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year based on experience and qualifications.
