Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine the needs of children referred for early intervention services.

• Actively participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP), tailoring services to meet the unique requirements of each child.

• Monitor children's progress and document outcomes, working collaboratively not only with families but also with a multidisciplinary team of professionals.

• Provide essential support to families, equipping them with knowledge and practical skills to foster their child's developmental milestones.

• Utilize evidence-based practices to recommend strategies that align with the Natural Learning Environment Practices, enhancing skill acquisition during daily routines.

• Employ a coaching model to teach families and caregivers how to implement developmental strategies within their home environments.
\n
• Ensure adherence to health and safety standards to promote a secure environment for both staff and the families we serve.

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance your skills and knowledge in early childhood intervention.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our primary focus at Norwood Counseling Center is on young children experiencing disabilities or developmental delays. As an LCSW, you will work closely with families during pivotal stages of early childhood development, facilitating access to the necessary resources and tools for implementing effective interventions. Your work will ensure that children receive tailored support to enhance their physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication skills during these critical years.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctorate in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) from the Department of Public Health.

• A valid driver's license is required.
\n
• Minimum of one year of experience specifically working with children in early intervention settings.

• Demonstrated adaptability to various learning styles to meet the needs of each child and family.

• Evidence of strong organization, time management, and communication skills.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 75,000 to 80,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
