Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct culturally sensitive and strengths-based assessments for new patients and their families, ensuring that care is tailored to individual needs.

• Provide individual and family therapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities to address specific issues identified in assessments.
\n
• Handle all necessary administrative tasks including billing, documentation, and the creation of individualized treatment plans and insurance authorization forms promptly.

• Develop and implement crisis plans, safety plans as required, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness plans to maintain continuous, stable functioning for clients.
\n
• Create comprehensive discharge plans for patients transitioning out of active therapy, ensuring they have the necessary support systems in place.
\n
• Maintain compliance with all federal and state laws, regulatory standards, and NEHS policies and procedures relevant to mental health practice.
\n
• Commit to ongoing professional development through training and continuing education, ensuring your skills remain sharp and relevant.
\n
• Engage in case consultation and agency meetings to collaborate with colleagues and enhance service delivery.
\n
• Fulfill all licensure requirements and complete mandatory training as per state regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse population, including individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Our clients come from varying backgrounds and cultures, which necessitates a deep understanding of cultural competency in your therapeutic approach. Your ability to connect with clients on a personal level will be essential in building trust and fostering an effective therapeutic alliance.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field is required for this position.

• A current and valid licensure as a Mental Health Therapist (Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)) in the State of Texas is mandatory.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in providing therapy in an outpatient setting is highly desirable.

• Experience working with diverse populations and familiarity with a range of mental health issues is preferred.

• Competence in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and care management.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with licensure and experience.
