Work Environment\n

This full-time position offers a remote work setting, affording you the flexibility to engage with clients in an environment that suits both you and their needs. While the outpatient office serves as the primary point of connection, our remote model empowers therapists to work effectively while maintaining excellent client engagement. Our operational hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm. Some evening hours may be required depending on client appointment schedules.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments that identify clients' mental health and substance use issues, recognizing co-occurring disorders on a case-by-case basis.

• Develop and implement effective treatment plans in collaboration with clients, incorporating evidence-based practices tailored to their unique circumstances.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on equipping clients with coping strategies, relapse prevention techniques, and effective emotional regulation skills.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists, to deliver comprehensive and integrated care suited to client needs.

• Engage in regular substance use monitoring and apply motivational interviewing techniques to encourage clients throughout their recovery processes.

• Educate clients and their families about the complex relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of adherence to treatment plans.

• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation pertaining to client progress, interventions, and referrals in alignment with ethical and legal standards.

• Actively participate in case conferences and staff meetings, contributing insights and continuing to enhance your expertise in co-occurring disorder treatment methodologies.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure in good standing as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Colorado.

• Demonstrated proficiency in the use of evidence-based therapeutic techniques, particularly in the context of co-occurring disorders, such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

• Strong understanding of the complex interplay between mental health and substance use disorders.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.

• A minimum of two years of relevant experience in a mental health counseling role, specifically addressing co-occurring disorders.
