Key Responsibilities\n

• Provide individualized therapy strategies tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, conducting thorough assessments and evaluations.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to diverse populations, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.
\n
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy to address a broad range of mental health issues.

• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care and promote best practices in mental health treatment.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay informed of current trends and practices in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Clinical LPC, you will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma. Our focus on family and marriage counseling provides an opportunity to engage with groups and families, ensuring that we address systemic concerns and foster healthy relationships.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Connecticut.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling environment, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic practices.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively build rapport with clients from varying backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n
