Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to gather critical information about clients' mental and emotional well-being, guiding treatment decisions.

• Deliver evidence-based therapy modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed care techniques.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, which includes psychiatrists, doctors, and other social workers, to design and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Facilitate supportive group therapy sessions and psychoeducation classes that empower clients and their families with coping strategies.

• Provide crisis intervention and risk assessments when necessary, ensuring client safety and well-being.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions and treatment progress to adhere to ethical, legal, and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will focus on clients facing severe mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety disorders, and trauma-related conditions. Serving individuals in a hospice setting adds a unique element to care, as clients often seek emotional support and guidance during life-limiting illnesses. You will engage with clients’ families to offer holistic support that encompasses both the patient’s needs and those of their loved ones, aiming to ease their journey together.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Nevada.
