Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to understand individual patient needs and collaboratively develop personalized treatment plans.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methods, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to provide effective interventions to individuals, families, and couples.

• Facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, creating a space for shared experiences among participants that enhances their understanding of mental health and recovery.

• Engage in consistent communication and collaboration with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care comprehensively.

• Provide crisis intervention services and timely support for patients experiencing mental health emergencies, ensuring a safe and responsive environment.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources that can aid in their recovery journey.

In this role, you will be working with a broad spectrum of clients facing various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, and substance abuse issues. Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• A valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State is necessary.
