The Accounts Receivable Payable Clerk plays a vital role within a small accounting team, managing client billing transactions and maintaining accurate financial records. Reporting to the Accounting Manager, this position requires meticulous attention to detail and effective communication skills to ensure smooth payment processing and reconciliation without the need for travel.
Responsibilities
- Track payments and manage client billing transactions
- Perform account reconciliation to maintain accurate records
- Maintain organized financial documentation and record keeping
- Communicate with customers regarding payment status and inquiries
- Enter data accurately into accounting systems
- Process monthly statements and mail to customers
- Reconcile daily parts invoices
Required Qualifications
- Experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable processes
- Proficient in data entry with strong attention to detail
- Effective communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- High school diploma or equivalent
