You will collaborate virtually with fellow mental health professionals, psychiatrists, and other healthcare practitioners to provide integrated and comprehensive care to clients.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed assessments to gain insights into patients' trauma histories and develop effective treatment strategies.

• Create and execute individualized treatment plans aimed at trauma recovery, focusing on promoting resilience and healing.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic methodologies, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to support clients in their healing processes.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions designed to assist patients in processing their trauma, cultivating coping mechanisms, and fostering recovery.

• Engage with multidisciplinary teams through case consultations and meetings, ensuring a holistic approach to patient care.
\n
• Provide crisis intervention when necessary, offering immediate support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and effective coping mechanisms, along with available resources related to mental health and wellness.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential documentation in compliance with legal standards and ethical guidelines.
\n
• Participate in ongoing professional development, keeping abreast of the latest advancements in trauma therapy, treatment modalities, and ethical practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clinic primarily serves individuals affected by trauma, including those struggling with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will work with a diverse patient population, each with unique backgrounds and experiences requiring tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, Psychologist, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, characterized by a compassionate, non-judgmental demeanor.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed care practices.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, particularly in trauma therapy or related fields.

Compensation and Benefits\n
