Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct individual and group therapy sessions aimed at addressing mental health issues faced by students.

• Perform comprehensive assessments and crisis interventions to assess student needs and develop immediate support strategies.

• Collaborate with students, families, and educators to create personalized treatment plans that align with each student’s academic and emotional goals.

• Utilize electronic health record systems to maintain accurate and confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatment progress.

• Offer guidance and support to families, helping them to navigate community resources to enhance their child’s well-being.

• Participate in ongoing professional development and training to stay current with therapeutic methodologies and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will focus on supporting students from diverse backgrounds, addressing a range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. You will also work closely with parents and caregivers, equipping them with tools and strategies to support their children’s development and mental health.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or a closely related field.
\n
• An active and unrestricted LICSW license in the state of California.
\n
• Strong clinical skills demonstrated through at least 2 years of practice in a mental health or educational setting.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working within a school setting or with school-aged populations is highly desirable.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth platforms.

• Training in trauma-informed care methodologies, including but not limited to CBT or DBT.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 to 120,000 annually , which reflects the expertise and dedication required for this role.
