Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth mental health assessments, thoughtfully considering the unique challenges faced by older adults, as well as their emotional and psychological needs.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on older adults experiencing mental health challenges. This includes addressing common issues such as depression, anxiety, dementia-related behavioral symptoms, and other geriatric psychiatric conditions. By understanding the intricacies of geriatric mental health, you will play an essential role in enhancing the quality of life for each client, facilitating their journey towards emotional and psychological resilience.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Possession of an active and valid California state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health therapy, particularly with a focus on geriatric populations.

• A robust understanding of geriatric mental health disorders, including knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, exhibiting empathy and a person-centered approach in therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n
