Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities and devise individualized treatment plans based on thorough analysis.
• Implement a variety of therapeutic techniques including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities to improve movement and alleviate pain.
• Monitor patient progress closely, modifying therapeutic interventions as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on exercises and strategies to manage pain and encourage compliance with home exercise programs.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT, to document patient care, track progress, and communicate effectively with the multidisciplinary team.
• Participate in team meetings to discuss patient care strategies and collaborate on treatment approaches with other healthcare professionals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this position will be treating a diverse patient population mainly comprised of adults recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. You'll play a vital role in guiding these individuals through their rehabilitation processes, ensuring they have the knowledge and support needed to reclaim their strength and functionality.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of relevant clinical experience in orthopedic rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience with manual therapy techniques and proficiency in utilizing Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, is highly desirable.
• Evidence of continuing education or specialized training in orthopedic therapy methodologies.

Compensation and Benefits
