Work Environment\n

This position offers the flexibility of remote work while providing the vital connection of outpatient services. Although primarily operating remotely, therapists will occasionally meet patients in our comfortable Newark office setting. Our working hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with opportunities for additional evening and weekend shifts on a rotational basis.

Key Responsibilities\n

As a Senior Clinical Mental Health Therapist, you will be tasked with various essential functions, including but not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to accurately evaluate the frequency, severity, and duration of mood disorder symptoms across diverse patient populations.

• Formulating individualized treatment plans that cater to the unique needs, goals, and preferences of each client.

• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to promote mental health stability and improvement.

• Educating clients and their families about mood disorders, therapeutic options, and effective self-care strategies.

• Continuously monitoring and documenting client progress while adapting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to maintain a holistic treatment approach.

• Staying informed of the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatment methodologies.

• Maintaining comprehensive and confidential records of client interactions and treatment plans to adhere to legal and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

Qualified candidates should possess:

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of New Jersey.
\n
• Exceptional communication skills and a proven ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
