Work Environment\n

This position is fully remote, allowing for flexible scheduling and the ability to reach clients in various locations. As a Telehealth Specialist, you will utilize our state-of-the-art telehealth platform to conduct therapy sessions, conduct assessments, and follow up with patients and families. Your structured workweek will typically run from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts required to accommodate client needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to evaluate the emotional, psychological, and developmental needs of children and adolescents.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are sensitive to each patient's unique circumstances, developmental stage, and family dynamics.
\n
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, incorporating modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, and family therapy frameworks.

• Facilitate family therapy sessions aimed at empowering parents and caregivers to foster a supportive home environment conducive to healing and growth.
\n
• Collaborate with child psychiatrists and multidisciplinary team members to ensure cohesive and coordinated mental health care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during emergencies, ensuring that young clients receive timely and effective intervention.

• Educate families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them in their journey.
\n
• Maintain meticulous and confidential records and documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Engage in regular team meetings and case consultations to contribute to the team’s collective knowledge and ongoing professional development.

• Stay current on research, advancements, and best practices in child and adolescent mental health to continually enhance treatment effectiveness.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York.

• Minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in providing mental health therapy, ideally with children and adolescents.
\n
• Strong knowledge of various child and adolescent mental health disorders and proficiency in evidence-based treatment approaches.
\n
• Demonstrated experience delivering individual and family therapy in a telehealth setting.
\n
• Exceptional interpersonal skills coupled with a compassionate and child-centered approach that fosters trust and rapport with clients and their families.

• Proficiency in navigating EHR systems and telehealth technology to provide efficient and effective therapy.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This role offers a competitive salary range of USD 115,000 - 130,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive healthcare benefits package.
