This unique setting allows you to develop intimate, trusting relationships with your patients, tailoring your therapy approach to their daily environments. You will work from Monday to Friday, enjoying the flexibility to set your own hours, which encourages work-life balance.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition, movement capabilities, and rehabilitation needs.Develop and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based methodologies, including exercises, hands-on therapy, and the use of therapeutic equipment to alleviate pain and enhance mobility.Monitor and document patients' progress meticulously, ensuring that all treatment interventions are reflected in their health records.Adapt and refine treatment regimens in response to patients' progress, setting and redefining therapeutic goals when necessary.Educate patients, caregivers, and family members on effective exercises and the proper use of assistive devices to encourage independence in daily activities.Stay current with best practices in physical therapy through continual learning and professional development opportunities, such as workshops and peer networking.Patient Population / Client FocusThe patients you will serve range from children to seniors, presenting a variety of health challenges, including post-surgical recovery, chronic pain management, and neurological disorders. Providing care in a patient's home ensures that you can address their specific mobility challenges in their familiar environment, which can enhance recovery outcomes.
