Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that take into account the interplay between psychological and physical health issues.

• Develop and execute individualized integrated treatment plans that address both mental health and co-occurring medical conditions.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions tailored to each patient's circumstances, utilizing evidence-based practices to foster personal growth and healing.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of medical providers to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will primarily focus on individuals who are experiencing various mental health challenges alongside chronic physical health conditions, such as autoimmune disorders, substance use disorders, and chronic pain. You will be at the forefront of our efforts to deliver empathetic and informed care, ensuring that every patient feels supported and understood.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMHC, LCSW, LCSW-R, Licensed Psychoanalyst, Psychologist, or LMFT in New York State.

• Demonstrated experience working with patients facing mental health challenges, especially those with co-occurring medical conditions.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to foster trust and rapport with patients.

• Capability to maintain professional boundaries, adhere to ethical guidelines, and ensure patient confidentiality at all times.

• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) and teletherapy tools to promote efficient patient management.

Compensation and Benefits\n
