Motion Craft Wellness is seeking dedicated and compassionate Physical Therapists to join our team in Passaic, New Jersey. This full-time position offers you the opportunity to engage directly with our geriatric clientele in an outpatient office setting. Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our well-organized outpatient office located in Passaic, New Jersey. Your daily work will involve direct interactions with patients in a warm and welcoming atmosphere designed to facilitate healing and rehabilitation. You will have the independence to create your own schedule within the standard working hours of Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, allowing for a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of each patient to assess their physical capabilities. Develop personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs, goals, and functional limitations.
• Provide skilled therapy services, utilizing a variety of techniques including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and different treatment modalities to support recovery and rehabilitation.
• Regularly monitor and document patient progress in electronic medical records (EMRs) to ensure that treatment plans are effective and adjust as necessary to meet patients' needs.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians, occupational therapists, and speech therapists, to deliver a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on therapeutic techniques, home exercise programs, and strategies for injury prevention to promote self-management and maintaining independence.
• Develop and implement fall prevention programs aligned with best practices to reduce the risk of accidents within our patient population.
• Stay abreast of new research, therapeutic advancements, and trends in physical therapy by participating in continuing education and professional development opportunities.
• Uphold ethical and professional standards, maintaining patient confidentiality while offering the highest level of care at all times.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on providing therapy for geriatric patients, many of whom have complex medical histories and diverse physical therapy needs. You will be working with individuals facing age-related challenges, which requires both clinical knowledge and a compassionate approach that acknowledges their life experiences and aspirations.

Qualifications

• A degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited college or university, with a Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctorate degree preferred.
• Current, active state licensure as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with patients, their families, and other members of the healthcare team.
• Proficient in using electronic health record systems to document patient care and progress accurately.
• Understanding of evidence-based practices, with an ability to apply the latest therapeutic techniques in a clinical setting.
• A strong commitment to patient-centered care, focusing on improving patient outcomes and enhancing quality of life.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in geriatric physical therapy is highly desired; however, new graduates with a passion for this specialty are encouraged to apply.
• Demonstrated ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative healthcare team, showing adaptability in a multifaceted clinical environment.

Compensation and Benefits

This full-time position comes with a competitive salary range of $100,000 – $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Additionally, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, enhancing your overall well-being and job satisfaction.
